ULTRAAQUA was founded by Danish water treatment scientists in 1996. It is a recognized and well-established research-based manufacturer of high quality UV-disinfection systems for both municipal and industrial water treatment applications.

The success has resulted in the installation of large scale UV-systems in more than 100 different countries worldwide.

ULTRAAQUA allocates many resources to research and development activities. They have close cooperation with several universities and R&D groups in different countries.

These activities ensure that they can support their customers with cutting-edge knowledge and that they constantly gather information about their products from hands-on experiences in very diverse environments.

ULTRAAQUA’s product range covers all typical applications such as disinfection of drinking water, waste water, industrial process water. They also manufacture systems for special applications such as photochemical oxidation of ultrapure water and de-chlorination of pool water.

UV Systems for General Water Disinfection
UV disinfection of water in stainless steel reactor vessels ULTRAAQUA’s SS closed reactor series are built from high-grade AISI 316L steel and are suitable for most water disinfection applications.

UV sensor and automatic mechanical cleaning systems are available.

The three series 220 SS, 320 SS and 440 SS and the Önorm MR16-320 SS cover a large variety of flows and doses.
Corrosion-resistant electro polished stainless steel AISI 316L construction improved energy efficiency for clear water due to internal reflection of UV light Operating pressure up to 10 bar.

UV Systems for Swimming Pools medium Pressure UV Systems
ULTRAAQUA’s MultiRay Series is designed and optimized for advanced photooxidation processes as well as general disinfection. It is also ideal for chloramines reduction in swimming pools and various chemical compounds in industrial wastewater.

Energy efficient operation has been of highest priority in the design. This is reflected by main features such as: market leading MPUV lamp technology especially adapted electronic high frequency lamp drivers.

UV Systems for Open Channels and Reservoirs
ULTRAAQUA’s SS C and PP C Series offer very low head loss solution for open channel systems. The series is commonly used for municipal wastewater treatment facilities and aquaculture systems. The series is modular and can be expanded to treat any flow.

UV Systems for Corrosive Environments
ULTRAAQUA’s polypropylene (PP) closed reactor series offers very high quality at a reasonable price. They are extremely versatile due to their corrosion-resistant construction and a flow range from 5 to 1000 m3/h.

As a result of attractive price/performance ratio and excellent long term experiences many customers select PP reactor based systems also for fluids that are non-corrosive.
