The BZ-series is a submersible sewage and wastewater pumps that is designed with a shrouded single/two-channel impeller and wide passages of over 3 inches (76.2 mm) in diameter to minimize trouble due to clogged solids. In addition, as mid to large sized pumps with 22 – 75 kW of drive power, they raise the already high pump efficiency standard of predecessor sewage and wastewater pumps of the Tsurumi brand with even better energy efficiency.

Pumps with Cutter Impeller

 

The C-series is a submersible cutter pump designed for handling raw sewage, wastewater, and heavy-duty industrial applications, where the pump is subject to clogging from oversize material. Single or two tungsten carbide alloy edge blazed on the impeller vane on the serrated suction cover. This mechanism cuts incoming fibrous material into pieces, permitting smooth passage of fibrous material. The impeller and suction cover of the “CR” type are made of high-chromium cast iron, ensuring excellent durability and enabling the pump to maintain high performance for an extended period.

Pumps with Vortex Impeller

 

The U-series is a 2-pole-motor-based, compact type submersible vortex pump designed for handling raw sewage, wastewater and liquid carrying solid matters and fibrous materials. Rotation of the impeller produces vortex flow in the pump casing, which allows those foreign matters to be pumped out with minimum contact to the impeller. Since this mechanism does not require the foreign matters to pass through the impeller vane, the pump offers practically unchokable pumping.

The KTVE-series is a submersible three-phase automatic portable drainage pump. An innovative electrode type relay unit built into the pump automatically starts and stops the pump to eliminate dry-running. This mechanism greatly reduces power consumption and extends operating life. Though the pump is a three-phase unit, it is designed to weigh lighter for portability, yet it can be used for pumping liquid found in ordinary construction and foundation works. The top discharge, side flow design assures efficient motor cooling even when it operates with its motor exposed to air. The slim design allows the pump to be placed in a confined space.

The KTZ-series is a submersible three-phase cast iron high head heavy-duty drainage pump. The cast iron body with high-chromium cast iron impeller enables it to withstand demanding conditions found in construction, aggregate and mining applications. The top discharge, side flow design assures efficient motor cooling even when it operates with its motor exposed to air. The slim design allows the pump to be placed in a confined space. The discharge direction is selectable between vertical and inclined, which prevents folding or bending of the discharge hose. The pump with 7.5 to 15kW motor incorporates seal pressure relief ports that prevent the pumping pressure from applying to the shaft seal.

Registration of Design

Tsurumi KTZ-series has been registered of the design around the world (including the EU, the U.S. and China). The right on the design shall be granted under the law of each country.

Portable Dewatering Pumps (Automatic)

 

The HSZ-series is a submersible single-phase automatic portable drainage pump. The automatic operation, controlled by a single float switch, reduces consumption and extends operating life. Though the pump is a single-phase unit, it has the durability equivalent to three-phase drainage pumps, since the wear parts are made of abrasion-resistant materials. The side discharge, spiral design allows smoother passage of the sucked solid matters. The shaft-mounted agitator prevents “Air Lock” that tends to take place on vortex or semi-vortex pumps.

The UZ-series is a 4-pole-motor-based, middle-sized submersible vortex pump design for handling raw sewage, wastewater and liquid carrying solid matters and fibrous materials. Rotation of the impeller produces vortex flow in the pump casing, which allows those foreign matters to be pumped out with minimum contact to the impeller. Since this mechanism does not require the foreign matters to pass through the impeller vane, the pump offers practically unchokable pumping. The UZ-series is capable of handling the maximum solid size that is equivalent to its discharge bore.
