Automatic Polyelectrolyte Preparator

Automatic Polymer Dosing

Preparation systems to dissolve and dilute powder and emulsion needed at the conditioning and mechanical dehydration of the sludge to be treated inside the purification plants, SEFT proposes an automatic station is polyelectrolyte polypreparing machine for the  continuous preparation of the flocculant substances necessary to complete the chemical / physical process that favors the dewatering of the sludge.

– Operation:

– The powdered polyelectrolyte stored in a hopper is transported by a screw conveyor, and dosed in a first sector of the dilution tank, where it is appropriately diluted with water thanks to the action of an electromechanical agitator which favors its dissolution. At the end of this first phase the solution passes into a second sector to complete the preparation, to then conclude the process in a third sector of maturation, and be ready for use.

– Same process for the preparation of the polyelectrolyte from a liquid concentrate takes place, instead of the powder doser a dosing pump is installed. Combined system liquid / powder systems allow maximum flexibility of use, also on the same equipment

-The passage between the various internal sectors of the tank is managed and controlled by a system of communicating vessels that automatically interrupt or resume its function once the desired level is reached by sector, this process is controlled and automated by an automated PLC electrical control panel.

The system is composed of:

• Hopper with hinged lid and safety guard in AISI304 L or AISI316 L, with capacities from 40 o 70 liters depending on model • Dosing screw operated by motovariator equipped with indicator of speed for the control of the scope

• A group of control and adjustment water supply from 200 to 3000 Lt / h (min 2 bar) consists of a water filter, a pressure reducer with pressure gauge, a pressure switch, a flow regulator valve, a solenoid valve and a flow meter, all installed on the tank and connected to the general framework

• A control probe levels

• A main control panel mounted on the machine

Sludge Mixer Conveyor

SMC – SLUDGE MIXER CONVEYOR

The SMC sludge mixer conveyor is designed for the mixing of sludge and lime to achieve stabilized sludge.
The dual-sha􀀁 compact mixer can easily be adapted to existing or new sludge stabilization processes for water and wastewater treatment plants. Two rotating sha􀀁s facilitate quality blending of the lime and sludge.
Each paddle is orientable according to the sludge characteristics and dry solids content.
Lime and sludge is added from the top in one end of the mixer housing. The rotating sha􀀁s ensure a good mixing of the material. At the same time the angle of the paddles leads the sludge/lime mixture towards the outlet in the other end of the machine. The paddles can be fixed at any angle relative to the sha􀀁 axis. As a result of this the sludge retention time can be prolonged or shortened.
The unit’s robust stainless steel construction makes it versatile for many harsh municipal and
industrial applications.

ADVANTAGES

• Quiet operation
• Homogeneous and thorough mix
• Compact size
• Adjustable paddles depending on sludge quality and dry so/ids content
• Easy-to-maintain

Dimensions scale is the same of BCA-BSA series.

Double Screw Conveyor

BCA – BSA – DOUBLE SCREW CONVEYOR

This equipment represents a special application of the concept of conveyor: built of two conveyors, with or without
central shaft, rotate inside of a trough with W section, each one with its own motorization, which can work independently
or synchronized depending from the application. The wear-resistant material on the bottom side of the trough can be HDPE or bolted plates in stainless steel, depending on the application.
This strong equipment requires very low maintenance; suitable for the transport of large quantities of material and/or rolling of large pieces.

ADVANTAGES
• Installation in line with belt presses or filter presses
• Low maintenance
• High flow
• Transport of material composed of large pieces

Compact Screw-Screen

CSS – COMPACT SCREW SCREEN
The CSS (Compact Screw-Screen) is an economic solution- machine designed for a solids separation in the domestic effluent and to block and to collect the material present at the same time and it permits to improve the overall performance of the water-treatment system before. It’s possible to use the CSS also for other industrial and municipal applications, but in this case please contact us and follow our recommendation and supervisioning of our technicians. Thanks to the special design and inclination the CSS is studied for a perfect and “plug & play” installation for: channels, wells and artificial pools.
It’s very easy to connect it directly at the exist.
Available models CSS 168 – CSS 219
Filtration range Ø 2 – 3 – 5 – 6 mm | wedge wire 1 – 2 mm
Inlet flange dimension CSS 168: DN100 PN10 CSS 219: DN150 PN10
Motor power 0,25 kW
Flowrate 16-20 m3/h  considering standard municipal wastewater

Screw Screen Compactor in tank

FCP/C – SCREEN WITH COMPACTOR WITH TANK

The FCP/C screw screen is equipped with fully sealed stainless steel container to allow installation where there is not provided a concrete channel.
The container is complete with flanged stub pipe of input and output.
The container can have a cassette side bypass rake screen (optional).
At the end of conveying section is assembled the compactor with the related discharge mouth.
Same principle of operation of the series FCP, with the simple addition of the container.
ADVANTAGES • Low speed of rotation and no intermediate supports • Self-cleaning with brushes fit on the screw • Low maintenance and low initial investment • Considerable reduction of volume and weight at the end of processing (up to 50%) • High percentage of solid removed

Step Screen

GPG – STEP SCREEN

The step screen is used for the solid-liquid separation operations, as a system for the mechanical separation of grits, detritus and floating solids.
Its typical field of usage is in the wastewater treatment plants, where an effective primary screening is the best way to achieve efficiency in the following processes.

MAIN FEATURES
• Series of laminas with a step design, available in stainless steel AISI 304 or 316

• Simple and robust construction • Absence of overly complicated referral/crank mechanisms

• No chains or deformable quadrilaterals • All transmission systems, bearings, shafts and couplings are out of the channel (no contact with the treated fluid and easy maintenance)

• The all-around cover is designed to protect the machines till the channel border, protecting also the moving parts from the weather (allowing open air installations and acting as a CE-norm protection system for the safety of plant personnel) The filtering unit is divided in two interpenetrating blocks, one mobile and one steady, whose relative movement produces a steady going of the filtered solids towards the discharge, leaving the filtering spaces always free and clean. Furthermore, the deposit of the solid particles on the screening bed can be used to improve the percentage of removed floating debris. When choosing the filtration spacing, must be took into account the wide filtering surface that allows to work with low fluid speed through the grid, reducing the resulting head loss.

APPLICATIONS
• Municipal sewage

• Industrial wastewater treatment

• Cattle-breeding, foodstuffs industries, farms, slaughterhouses, paper-mill, tannery
