Channel Brushes Screen

Channel Brushes Screen CBS

The medium-fine screening is one of the first to be considered in a civil or industrial wastewater treatment plant.

Its purpose is to intercept and remove large sized solids that can damage and / or slow down the depurative processes and plant equipment, or obstruct the pipelines.

It is particularly important before the pumping stations to protect the electric pumps.

The brushes screen is specially designed for medium-fine screening of sewage at the entrance of the plant.

The filtration level is defined depending on the type and amount of material expected and according to the scheme of the depuration process adopted.

Thanks to the screen filter which consists of the fixed perforated screen, this machine is able to block the suspended solids (larger than the filtration space), lifting them out of the water flow by means of the cleaning nylon brushes and convey them to the discharge, placed at the top of the machine.

In the discharge area, a mechanical cleaning system, called counter cleaner comb, causes the fall of the material screened in a special collection box.

APPLICATIONS

  •  civil waste water treatment plants
  •  industrial wastewater treatment plants
  •  tanneries • industrial laundries
  •  slaughterhouses • paper mill
  •  textile industry
  • fish industry
  •  food and chemical industry

Sand Separator

CLS – SAND SEPARATOR

This machine separates sands by extraction, from wastewater of various nature: municipal, industrial. It is also called sand classifier or sand washer.
It consist of: • a decantation hopper • a shaftless screw conveyor, conveniently go into proportion, for extraction, transport and unloading sands • U-section trough The wastewater (water + sands) enters the hopper through a flanged inlet: here, decantation and settling of the solid particles takes place on the bottom of the tank.
The special screw conveys the separated material toward the discharging spout. The clean water comes out of the hopper thanks to an overflow system linked to a flanged outlet
The low rotational speed and the special anti-wear covering fixed on the transport section assure an high efficiency and a low wearing of the machine’s internal parts.

ADVANTAGES

• no mechanical parts in contact with the sewage
• low erection and maintenance costs
• no hanging bears
• possibility of sand washing before discharging
• completely close machine

Belt Screen

BLT – BELT SCREEN
The rotating belt screen SEFT BLT is composed of a high performance reinforced techno polymer hooked belt; its functioning is rotating and what does not pass through the spacing of the belt screen is collected and discharged
from the discharge spout located at the top of machine. The use of this type of screen is optimal to obtain a medium- fine screening, depending on the used filtration spacing. The cleaning of the filter belt is guaranteed by
nozzles placed in the upper part of the machine and from rotating and fixed brushes which allow to obtain a clean belt screen at each rotating cycle. The material of construction of the external structure can be stainless steel AISI304 L or AISI316L.
MANUFACTURING FEATURES
Channel Width (A) from 400 mm to 2100 mm
Filtration spacing from 3 mm to 60 mm

Screw Screen in Tank

FC/C – SCREEN SCREEN WITHOUT COMPACTOR WITH TANK
The FC/C screw screen is equipped with fully sealed stainless steel container to allow installation where there is not provided a concrete channel.
The container is complete with flanged stub pipe of input and output. The container can have a cassette side bypass rake screen (optional).
At the end of conveying section is assembled the compactor with the related discharge mouth. Same principle of operation of the series FC, with the simple addition of the container.
ADVANTAGES
• Low speed of rotation and no intermediate supports
• Self-cleaning with brushes fit on the screw
• Low maintenance and low initial investment
• Considerable reduction of volume and weight at the end of processing (up to 50%)
• High percentage of solid removed
MANUFACTURING FEATURES FC/C

Overflow Spillway Water

GPS – OVERFLOW SCREEN

The screening plant model GPS is used in water treatment as first rain or as water treatment of relief in case of
heavy rainfall. The installation of GPS is ideal for mechanical screening of
floating material in relief in situations of “overflow”.

The plant consists mainly of:
• A filtering surface curved in a semicircle
• A rotating transport screw
• A zone of calm for the discharge of screenings collected

The loading basket is composed by a stainless steel sheet perforated and by an adequate support structure of the machine, the screw that rotates inside of it transports the residues of sifting captured by the filter in the axial direction
towards the discharge zone of the solid. The special brushes mounted on the surface of the screw keep clean the filter and ensure a perfect cleaning of the holes of passage of the waters.
The start/stop cycle of the screw is managed by a level indicator placed at the end of the machine.
The discharge zone is composed by a zone of calm where the collected material is ejected from the machine by means of a special pallet placed at the end of the screw. The gear motor placed at the end of the machine is compact
in size and is sized based on the length and the diameter of the machine.

ADVANTAGES
• Fully automatic operation
• Low speed
• Low maintenance thanks to the self-cleaning brushes
• Adaptable to existing systems
• High percentage of removal of solid

Screw Press Dewatering Machine

SLP – SLP/T – SLUDGE SCREW PRESS

The SEFT SLP sludge screw press is a high compaction screw that can dehydrate or thicken the incoming sludge to bring it to the desired fluid. Depending on the type of sludge required at the outlet (thickened or dehydrated), the composition of the plant in question changes, so if it needs the mixing and thickening part or not.
The elements that define the complete system SLP-T: Gearmotors (screw & mixer); Compacting Screw Body; Pressure switch; Loading basket; Washing; Mixer; Connection piping; Liquid discharge pipe;

The advantages of this machine are:
– Low electrical power;
– Low noise pollution during operation;
– Low water consumption for maintenance.

Rotary Screw Screen Compactor

FCR-FCRP-FCRC- ROTARY SCREW SCREEN

The rotary screw screen is used for the separation and subsequent dewatering and compacting of the solid content in wastewater coming from industrial and municipal plants.

The machine is composed by:
• External structure in stainless steel AISI304 L/316 L
• Screw in high carbon steel or stainless steel AISI304 L/316 L
• Outer rotary drum concentric to the loading basket (perforated holes profile or wedge wire)
• Internal loading basket
• Transport section: tubular
• Discharging section: with or without compactor
• Single drive unit
• Supporting adjustable foot
• Available also as in-tank version (up to size 1600)
The solid in the sewage enters in the basket clogging it, creating an increase of the level before the filter.
A level sensor sends a signal to start the rotation of the screw screen and consequently of the outer rotary loading drum. During rotation the outer rotary loading drum discharges solid in the screw conveyor with the aid of outer rotary loading drum washing system.
The outer surface of the screw screen is further cleaned by brushes fixed on the outer side screw so that makes cleaning action during rotation.
The compactor (optional) located at the end of the transport section, on top of the machine, makes compaction and dehydration of solid, to reduce weight and volume.

ADVANTAGES
• Low speed of rotation and no intermediate supports
• Self-cleaning with brushes fit on the screw
• Low maintenance and low initial investment
• Considerable reduction of volume and weight at the end of processing (up to 50%) using the optional compactor
• High percentage of solid removed

Screw Screen for High Solid Content Flows

FC/U Screen for High Solid Content Flows

The FC/U screw screen is used for the treatment of wastewater with a significant percentage of solid to separate.
Differs from the other screw screens for a section of transport realized with a U-trough and a discharging section of
considerable size. In the lower part is positioned the loading basket.
The screw is shaft-less but greatly reinforced. The machine can be positioned inside a channel or in a special tank

ADVANTAGES

• Low speed of rotation and no intermediate supports

• Self-cleaning with brushes fit on the screw

• Low maintenance and low initial investment

• Considerable reduction of volume and weight at the end of processing (up to 35-40%)

• High percentage of solids removed
